The Veronicas Bring their “Gothic Summer” Tour to the Echo Lounge & Music Hall

Opener Jesse Jo Stark joins headliner The Veronicas at the Echo Lounge & Music Hall in Dallas.

Last week, pop duo The Veronicas continued their Gothic Summer tour at the Echo Lounge & Music Hall in Dallas. On this tour, the group was accompanied by indie artist Jesse Jo Stark. Inside of the venue, hundreds of excited fans gathered on the main floor and balcony.

The first act to hit the stage was Jesse Jo Stark, a pop artist from California. She has more than 200 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, and her track “Mystery” has garnered more than 8 million streams. This year she has released two singles titled “patterns” and “skeleton.” During her set, Jesse Jo Stark was joined by her band that comprised of a guitarist, bassist and drummer. She performed a selection of her most popular songs, including “so bad” and “Dandelion.” She also sang a cover of Anita Carter’s “(Love’s) Ring of Fire.” Jesse Jo Stark’s entertaining set delivered vocals, choreography, and fan engagement.

The last act to hit the stage was The Veronicas, an iconic electro pop duo from Australia. The group has almost 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and their track “Untouched” has accumulated more than 170 million streams. This past March, they released their sixth album Gothic Summer. The Veronicas opened with their hit song “Take Me on the Floor,” which was followed by “When It All Falls Apart.” Both members, sisters Lisa and Jessica Origliasso, wore fun outfits that incorporated plaid, leather, and chunky shoes. Besides singing, the sisters also danced, played instruments, and showed their gratitude to their fans. Their setlist consisted of both old and new fan favorite tracks, and their closing song was “Untouched.” Overall, both Jesse Jo Stark and The Veronicas put on energetic performances that the audience couldn’t help but dance and sing along to.
