Sarah Kinsley embarks on her largest headline tour yet, bringing the enchanting world of the Fleeting Tour across North America. On Thursday, April 9, 2026, Sarah Kinsley performed at The Echo Lounge and Music Hall in Dallas, TX with opener girlpuppy.
As the opening act, indie pop artist girlpuppy’s music complemented Kinsley well. Her lyrics introduce a unique sense of nostalgia for past relationships, described with wit and charm. girlpuppy performed several songs from her latest release Sweetness, including “I Just Do!,” “Champ,” and “In My Eyes.” She also performed “Wish,” the lead single from her 2022 debut album When I’m Alone. The singer-songwriter commented on the camaraderie of a Southern crowd, appreciating the kindness of the Dallas audience as an artist from Atlanta performing with band members from Tennessee.

Beginning her set with “Truth of Pursuit,” Kinsley skillfully weaves her discography into an incredibly captivating emotional journey. Her movements, paired with haunting vocals, were incredible to witness live. Including “Lovegod” and “Oh No Darling!” from her 2023 EP Ascension was a welcome addition to the setlist that added excitement. From her 2024 album Escaper, Kinsley also performed “Glint,” “Realms,” and “Knights.” Throughout the night, “Lonely Touch”—a song about being relentless—was a fun, upbeat track that felt like dancing in a cosmic whirlwind while the whole crowd moved to the music.

Kinsley spoke candidly about her experiences creating music and performing live. She expressed her gratitude for the audience, noting the contrast between writing her first songs alone in her apartment and singing live with a room of enthusiastic concertgoers. Kinsley admitted that her performance of “The Giver” that night was the first in which she truly screamed. In fact, “The Giver” was a highlight of the night, during which her vocals beautifully crescendoed with the live production, echoing the overwhelming emotion of its final lyrics.
Her voice was soulful and rich, filling the music venue while simultaneously inviting the audience into intimacy. Her performance came to a close with two of the most anticipated songs of the night: her most popular hit, “The King,” as well as the title track from her latest release, Fleeting.
