NMIXX embarks on their first solo world tour EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER, making their long anticipated return to Dallas, Texas. Three years later, the six members Lily, Haewon, Bae, Sullyoon, Jiwoo, and Kyujin are back more powerful than ever.
Starting off the show with “O.O,” NMIXX’s entrance was a striking reminder of their 2022 debut. Followed by several tracks from their 2024 album Fe3O4: BREAK, the members delivered impressively energetic performances, catapulting from one song to the next with unfaltering intensity.
Following “RICO,” the members introduced themselves to the audience. Leaning into the local spirit, Lily delivered her introduction in a Southern accent, which was met with roaring enthusiasm. Sullyoon also delivered her take on the iconic “Don’t mess with Texas” slogan, which became a charmingly hilarious highlight.
From cheery, upbeat hits like “Young, Dumb, Stupid,” to dark, dramatic visuals paired with tracks like “Red light sign, but we go,” NMIXX proves their duality as performers.
In 2023, NMIXX first performed at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory on their US showcase tour. New stages on the EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER tour include “Papillon,” as well as fan favorite “TIC TIC.” An especially impressive stage is NMIXX’s performance of “High Horse,” a track that is somber, yet hopeful. The members convey these emotions well, matching the notes of melodic piano. “High Horse” features standout duo performances, including a dance break with Bae and Kyujin, as well as Lily and Haewon’s strong vocals.
During “Shape of Love,” NMIXX called on the fans to raise lightsticks and phone flashlights, lighting up the room for a tender moment. NMIXX also performed their recent hit “Blue Valentine,” the lead single of their first studio album of the same name. A nostalgic and melodic song, “Blue Valentine,” is truly an addicting anthem.
Throughout the encore, NMIXX expressed their gratitude for both old fans waiting for their return and new fans seeing them for the first time, noting how special it is to perform live in Dallas once again. NMIXX finally ended their set for the night with the uplifting “ADORE U,” echoing their wholehearted message of love and gratitude for their fans.
