Tessa Violet Claims Her Throne at The Factory

Opener Frances Forever and headliner Tessa Violet rock out at The Factory in Dallas.

Earlier this month, indie-pop artist Tessa Violet continued her “My God!” tour at The Factory in Dallas. For this tour, Tessa Violet is accompanied by singer-songwriter Frances Forever. The stage design for the tour was stunning, and the background was colorful mosaics dedicated to the current Tessa Violet era. Frances Forever kicked off the show, and they were joined by their guitarist and drummer. The band performed a variety of tracks from their two EPs, pockets and paranoia party. They closed their set with the viral hit “space girl”, and Frances Forever and the audience danced along to the verses.

Next up, Tessa Violet began her set wearing a pink bejeweled costume, cape, and boots. The stage design became even more intricate, and incorporated colorful lighting, smoke machines, and bubble confetti. Tessa Violet played a medley of songs from her two albums, Bad Idea and My God!. The last two tracks she performed were her hit single “Crush” and a cover of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” All in all, Tessa Violet entranced the audience through her vocals, wardrobe, and production.
