Balance and Composure is back after their three-year hiatus and played two shows celebrating their second studio album, “The Things We Think We’re Missing.” The band chose to play one of the shows in Austin at The Far Out Lounge & Stage on November 4.
Earlier this year, Balance and Composure released “Too Quick To Forgive,” a collection of two singles. The five-piece from Doylestown, Pennsylvania celebrated the release with a six-show run across the U.S.
At the 10-year anniversary show, Balance and Composure played the album from front to back to a massive crowd at the South Austin outdoor venue. In between songs, lead singer Jon Simmons thanked the crowd for still caring about the album 10 years later. After playing the full album, Balance and Composure ended their set with an encore, playing ”Body Language” and, my favorite, “Postcard.”
Balance and Composure had Wicca Phase Springs Eternal and MSPAINT supporting their show in Austin.
