Turnstile headlined a sold out show at Stubb’s in Austin, TX during their Turnstile Love Connection tour.
Turnstile rocked Stubb’s on Friday, May 8. The Baltimore hardcore group opened their set with back to back singles, “Mystery” and “Blackout,” from their newest album Glow On which set the tempo of their dynamic performance. Turnstile slowed it down for a few songs like “Alien Love Call” and “No Surprise.” Turnstile came back for an encore after playing “T.L.C. (Turnstile Love Connection)” and brought the show full-circle with the song they opened with, “Mystery.”
Toledo, OH based alternative band, Citizen opened up for Turnstile with an electric set. Citizen started out their performance with “Jet,” a crowd favorite from their third studio album As You Please. The tead singer, Mat Kerekes, encouraged the crowd to sing along by holding the mic out to the fans a few times throughout their performance. Citizen highlighted a few tracks from their newest album Life in Your Glass World such as, “Big Mouth,” “Blue Sunday,” “I Want To Kill You.”
