Bésame Mucho 2025 returned to Austin’s Circuit of the Americas on April 5th for a second year, and featured a stacked lineup of artists including Peso Pluma, Banda El Recodo, Elvis Crespo and many more.
Bésame Mucho first made their way to Austin in 2024. With past lineups, it made sense for the fest to happen in Texas at least once. Especially due to the state’s immense latino population. It was such a huge success in 2024, it returned once more with another equally stacked lineup. Although the previous Bésame Mucho festival in Los Angeles was ultimately cancelled, they made up for it in Austin.
Los Socios Del Ritmo
This ensemble came out playing nothing but their cumbias mexicanas, immediately ramping up the crowd. Their set was early, but the people showed up to dance. This lively group wore their signature blue blazers, and sang fan favorites like “Felicidad,” “Lollar” and “Amor de Internet.” The band highly praised their fans, especially for making their track “Llorar” one of their most popular songs that truly put them on the map.
Su Majestad Mi Banda El Ritmo De Casimiro
When we say this band was lit, oh we mean it. When are you ever gonna catch fans dancing to 90s quebradita in the middle of the day with a nice, cold chela on one hand and their partners hand in another? This group is known for their tracks like “Feliz Feliz” and “Bailando de Caballito.” The lead singer, an original member since their forming in 19723, was often encouraging the audience to jump and dance. On top of their vibrant performance, their matching bright costumes tied it all together and made it an eclectic start to the day.
Jasiel Nuñez
Known for his Corridos Tumbados, Jasiel Nuñez, at only 24, has entered the big Austin stage. Originally from Jalisco, Mexico, the artist is signed to Double P Records, which belongs to Peso Pluma. On stage, he interacted well with the crowd while performing songs about love and heartbreak. He has a natural confidence on stage that shone while singing his most loved songs like “LAGUNAS”, “BIPOLAR”, and “CORAZON FRIO”.

Los Cardenales de Nuevo León
With more than 40 years since their formation, Los Cardenales de Nuevo Leon have cemented their sound, especially in the northern region of Mexico. They started with their loved song “Quiero Que Sepas” while letting the crowd sing the chorus. The lead singer, Don Chayo, sadly suffered from a stroke a couple of years ago so he had to perform from a wheelchair, but that did not stop him from singing his heart out. Fan favorites like “Mi Complice”, “Si Yo Fuera El”, and of course “Belleza de Cantina”. This legend showed the crowd why they have lasted together for more than 4 decades.
Los Huracanes Del Norte
Hailing from Jalisco, Mexico de infamous Los Huracanes del Norte were next on the Bésame Mucho stage. A band that started with brothers has now grown into one the most iconic groups in regional Mexican music. The group started of with a compilation of corridos and the public went crazy. They then went into songs like “La Surbuban Dorada” and “La Escuadra (En Que Trabaja El Muchacho”. No performance of Los Huracanes del Norte would be complete without their heartbreak songs “Nomas Por Tu Culpa” and “Te Perdone Una Vez”. For a surprise during their set, they even brought out former lead singer Heraclio to sing some more old-school corridos.

Pesado
Representing Monterrey, Mexico, the group, also known as “El Grupo Que Vale Lo Que Pesa”, Pesado hit the stage. In the Norteno world, they are highly respected as one of the groups from the 90s who helped push the music to the States. They performed “Loco”, “A chillar a otra parte”, and “Mitad y Mitas”. Pesado had the crowd dancing and singing throughout their wonderful set.

Luis Angel ‘El Flaco’
Starting his solo career in 2021, the former lead singer of Los Recoditos brought his best energy to the stage. Luis Angel “El Flaco” began his set with his cover of “Hasta La Miel Amarga,” which the crowd enjoyed. He then went into his discography with songs like “Mi Ultimo Deseo”. He also performed songs like “Ando Bien Pedo”, and “Y Si Se Quiere Ir”. A highlight of his set was when he asked the crowd, “Adonde estan mis chavorrucos?”, highlighting the loyal fans that are still young at heart.

Banda Los Recoditos
Formed in 1989 in Sinaloa, Banda Los Recoditos has a history of being one of the best in the game. They began their set with a cover from Intocable, “Fuerte No Soy”. Throughout their set, the lead singer danced and went closer to the fans to sing together. Songs from their deep discography like “Ando Bien Pedo”, “Mi Ultimo Deseo”, and “Me Esta Gustando” stuck out the most. This was truly a fun set!

La Adictiva
Formed in Sinaloa, Mexico, and celebrating 35 years of being together, the group La Adictiva did a great job on stage. They hit the stage with songs like “El Sinaloense”, “Despues de Ti Quien”, and “El Amor de Mi Vida”. One of the most eye-catching parts of their sets was not only their matching outfits but the fact that even their instruments were colored black! La Adictiva had a fun stage presence, and you could see them interacting with the fans a lot, too.
Camila
Along with acts like REIK, Juanes, and Belanova, Camila is a trio known for their latin pop sounds. Formed of members Mario Domm, Pablo Hurtado, and Samuel “Samo” Parra, this trio is known for their major hits like “Mientes” and “Todo Cambio.” Domm and Hurtado took the Bésame Mucho stage as a duo, due to Samo coming down with an illness earlier in the day. No matter, fans were still as excited to hear all of their fave tracks live. The crowd roared in cheers throughout their whole set, with all members on stage often interacting with fans in the crowd.

Tito Doble P
As soon as Tito Doble P took the stage, fans immediately rushed to get the best spot. The corridos tumbados singer, known for being a constant collaborator and cousin of fellow singer Peso Pluma, ran all over the stage to hype up the crowd. Sporting an elegant look, he bounced all around the stage with a popular coke Labubu tied to his belt. He performed songs like “Tattoo,” “ROSONES” and “La Troka.” Most recently, Tito Doble P released his debut album titled Incómodo in 2024, and just finished his AY MAMA tour around the US.

Duelo
Coming from Roma, Texas, this group rose to prominence during the early 2000s and continues to grow. Duelo performed their hits “Qué Hubiera Sido de Mi Vida”, “Un Minuto Mas”, and “Amiga Soledad”. They also gave us a special treat when they brought out Carin Leon to perform “Malabares”.
Elvis Crespo
Elvis Crespo: the Merengue legend. If you haven’t heard “Suavemente” at a party or get-together, you are obviously missing it out. The cold was brewing in the evening, but Crespo made sure to get their hips moving. With an energetic stage presence and an incredible backing band + choreography, Elvis Crespo’s set is easily one of the best sets that hit the Bésame Mucho grouns in 2025. With songs like “Tatuaje” and “Pintame,” no one stood still. As soon as Crespo began singing the first words to “Suavemente,” it felt like you were being transported to a whole new world. The merengue singer announced a new album at the fest, due out in July of 2025.

Mónica Naranjo
Mónica Naranjo delivered a powerhouse “Greatest Hits” set, where she opened with the exuberant “Solo Se Vive Una Vez.” The highlight came with “Sobreviviré,” her iconic anthem that has become a symbol of resilience and empowerment. Naranjo’s career, spanning over three decades, began in Mexico where she found early success before gaining recognition in her native Spain. Known for her fusion of pop, rock, and operatic styles, she has sold over ten million records worldwide and collaborated with legends like Luciano Pavarotti and Mina. Her performance at the festival was a testament to her enduring artistry and emotional depth.

Ramón Ayala
Known as the “King of the Accordion,” Ramón Ayala brought fans from multiple generations together for his set. He is originally from Monterrey, and now 79 years old, he has had a successful and impact music career. As he sat playing the accordion and singing, the crowd enjoyed hearing tracks like “ Mi Tesoro”, “Triste Recuerdos”, and “Baja de Oro”. Ayala is a legend who continues to shine on stage.

Carin León
Carin León delivered a highly-anticipated performance, marking him as an Austin favorite. Most recently, the singer performed at the Houston Rodeo and at Austin City Limits (2024), proving that Texas are his biggest fans. Hailing from Hermosillo, Sonora, León has become a prominent figure in regional Mexican music, known for his emotive vocals and heartfelt lyrics. He treated fans to a selection of his most beloved hits, including “Que Vuelvas,” “El Tóxico,” and “Primera Cita,” each met with enthusiastic sing-alongs from the crowd.
The best part was the interaction from his backing band. During a cover of the song “La Niña Fresa” by Banda Zeta, one of the members replaced the chorus line “un banana split en buena onda” with “quiero una Whataburger.” Come on, name a better way to stay in touch with your TEXAS fans!

Hombres G
Hombres G lit up the stage at the Bésame Mucho Festival with a high-energy, nostalgia-filled performance that had the crowd singing every word. The legendary Spanish pop-rock band, formed in the early ’80s, showed no signs of slowing down, playing fan favorites like “Devuélveme a Mi Chica” and “Te Quiero.” Known for blending catchy melodies with youthful angst, their sound has remained timeless, winning over generations of fans across the latin world. Their set was packed with emotion and pure rock energy despite the weather.

Banda El Recodo
Banda El Recodo was the perfect band to have close out the iconic Beso Stage. The started with a typical Sinoalense banda rhythm. They sang majority of their hits, including “Acabame de Matar,” “Que Te Ruegue Quien Te Quiera,” and “Yo Sé Que Te Acordarás.” Throughout the show, all members were often dancing and singing at the same time, making the fans go absolutely crazy. Towards the end, the lead singer went into the crowd to shake the hands of fans who have been camping at their spot just to see them.
Enanitos Verdes
Hailing from Argentina, this rock band showed Austin how they get down in South America. Enanitos Verdes have been active for more than 40 years, yet their music is as prominent as ever across generations. Global hits like “La Muralla Verde”, “Lamento Boliviano”, and “Por El Resto” were some of the highlights of the night. The crowd was happily singing and dancing to all their songs in their set. Even though the lead singer is unfountly no longer with us, the group gives an entertaining performance with a carefree energy that you can only find in Spanish Rock.
Peso Pluma
The main act of the night was none other than Peso Pluma. He’s also performed a share of Austin / Texas shows – as the last festival appearance he made was at South by Southwest 2024. While the performance started later than scheduled, that didn’t stop from the crowd going crazy.
Peso Pluma had a high platform on the stage filled with his band and dancers, and immediately started the set with “Rubicon,” “Vino Tinto” and “Gervonta.” The singer jumped all over the stage for every single song, even encouraging those to chant his name. Along with his solo Corrido Tumbado hits, he also sang his popular featured songs like “QLONA” (Karol G), “Quema” (Ryan Castro) and “La Bebe” (Yng Lvcas). The night ended with hits like “Ella Baila Sola” and Lady Gaga.”

Overall
While the cold weather was not super ideal (especially towards the end of the night), Bésame Mucho 2025 was a day to remember. Everyone complains about the times being too close, but that’s where the fun is. Running from stage to stage to make sure you catch your favorite songs, with almost no wait time in between sets, it’s a real good time. This year’s lineup was a good blend of all of the classic latin music our parents grew up, and the latin music that’s popular nowadays.

p.s Bésame Mucho…. we love that you blend all these genres but the Rock en Español erasure was a bit disappointing… direct me to a questions/comment box and i’ll make sure to add that in there.
p.p.s Tito Doble P accidentally hit Keylee with his coke Labubu. She gave it to a fan in the front row, but man IT WAS AWESOME.
