Joywave Cleansed Concertgoers at Emo’s in Austin, TX

Bands Joywave and I Dont Know How But They Found Me shared the stage at Emo’s on Friday, September 16th on their co-headlining tour “Welcome To Hellvetica.”

Joywave played an electric performance with the stage set up to model a car wash as a nod to the theme of their newest album, Cleanse. The indie rock-band from Rochester, NY played a few new songs like “After Coffee” and “Pray for the Reboot” from their fourth album along with crowd favorites “Destruction” and “Obsession.” Joywave treated concertgoers with a performance of “Dangerous,” a song that lead singer Daniel Armbruster said they hadn’t played live before the pandemic and had to change that after the song was played on a recent SpaceX mission to outer-space.

iDKHOW was the closing act of the night in Austin, TX. The duo from Salt Lake City had the crowd dancing to their vibrant indie pop performance with popular songs like “Choke” and “Razzmatazz.” The band also invited the crowd to have their chance to harmonize during a “A Letter” by The Brobecks.

Savannah Conley is supporting the Welcome To Hellvetica tour across the U.S. opening the shows with her dreamy folk ballads.
