HOMESHAKE performed a magical set with special guest Salami Rose Joe Louis at the one and only Hotel Vegas in Austin, TX.
Salami Rose Joe Louis opened up for HOMESHAKE at Hotel Vegas this past Saturday as part of HOMESHAKE’s Under the Weather North American Tour. Their Austin performance was one of five Texas shows on their tour this season. This incredible set was staged in the outdoor area of Hotel Vegas giving all the “backyard party” vibes.
Special guest Salami Rose Joe Louis opened up the night strong with her out of this world electric/pop sound. All the way from California, this ex-climate scientist, now a musician signed to Brainfeeder label, is making waves in the indie/electronic scene. She kicked the night off with a bang with her poppy synths and electronic beats. Salami Rose Joe Louis impressed the crowd as a one woman band, playing keys, sound pads, guitar, and singing. Her full set consisted of whimsical almost extraterrestrial sounds and melodic rhythms. Salami Rose Joe Louis left the Hotel Vegas stage with thunderous applause and cheers from the crowd.
The brief intermission between sets lets a buzz in the air with the crowd discussing Salami Rose Joe Louis’s amazing performance and the anticipation of HOMESHAKE. Off Record Blog captured a quick photo of an excited group of HOMESHAKE fans holding their place at the front of the stage. The crowd erupted in cheers and applause as lights dimmed and HOMESHAKE took the stage. HOMESHAKE dove right into their first song as fans moved and grooved in the crowd. The four-man band played their synth heavy beats accompanied with bouncing bass lines, and the smoothest vocals. HOMESAKE played a full set including songs off their most recent album Under the Weather which was released Fall of 2021 with sprinkles of older fan favorites. Hotel Vegas hosted a truly magical music party.
