New york duo known as FCUKERS will be performing at Austin City Limits 2026, where they bring their blend of indie sleaze and electropop to Austin.
If you’re looking for one of the acts most likely to turn your ACL schedule upside down, make some room for Fcukers. The New York duo of Shanny Wise and Jackson Walker Lewis formed in 2022, coming out of the Lower East Side scene with a sound that feels like someone threw ’90s dance music, indie sleaze, house, post-punk and a sweaty club night into a blender. Their early shows quickly became the stuff of NYC word-of-mouth, and it didn’t take long for the rest of the world to catch on.
A big turning point came at South by Southwest in 2024. Fcukers arrived in Austin with relatively little music released but quickly became one of those bands everyone seemed to be talking about after seeing them live. Their sets had the feeling of a late-night rave crammed into a rock show, with Shanny Wise working the crowd while Jackson Walker Lewis kept the grooves moving. That SXSW run helped push them from underground NYC favorite toward something much bigger.
Just a few years after forming, Fcukers are firmly in the festival circuit. They’ve gone from tiny clubs and chaotic early shows to major festival stages, while opening for artists like Tame Impala and Harry Styles along the way. Their debut album, Ö, gives them an even bigger compilation of songs to bring to the stage.
And that’s really the reason to catch them at ACL – Fcukers are a party first and a band second. If you stumble into their set without knowing what to expect, there’s a good chance you’ll stay until the end… and probably end up jamming.
