From new releases to country music chart-toppers – August in Austin, Texas started off with a wild night of laughing, singing, and two-stepping with Billy Currington & Kip Moore.
The night kicked off with rising country artist Marlon Funaki, who wasted no time setting the tone for an evening of southern charm. With his laid-back stage presence and smooth vocals, Funaki drew in early arrivals and gave them something to cheer about, delivering a set full of heartfelt lyrics and easygoing melodies.

Next up was Kip Moore, and the energy immediately heightened. Moore had the crowd fired up from the moment he stepped on stage. He ran through a setlist packed with fan favorites, including the hits “Somethin’ ’Bout a Truck” and “Beer Money.” Moore’s performance had people on their feet, singing at the top of their lungs and dancing in the aisles. His ability to turn up the volume created the perfect momentum leading into the headliner.

When Billy Currington finally took the stage, the audience was ready for a full country celebration. Currington didn’t disappoint, launching into a hit-filled set that spanned his entire career. Dressed in true country fashion, the crowd was a sea of cowboy hats, belt buckles, and boots, embodying the genre they came to celebrate. The atmosphere reached its peak when couples began two-stepping, spinning and swaying to Currington’s smooth vocals. To close out the night, Currington returned for a five-song encore, sending fans home on a high of “People Are Crazy” and “We Are Tonight.”
From start to finish, the evening delivered everything a country fan could ask for perfect performances, sing-along hits, and a whole lot of heart. Whether it was your first rodeo or not, this was the perfect example of what country music is all about!
