Waterparks took the stage at Waterparks’ hometown in Houston, Texas for their ‘SNEAKING OUT OF HEAVEN’ Tour with guests Pollyanna, and Loveless.
Waterparks made a long-awaited return to their hometown on Saturday, hitting the stage of the iconic House of Blues to a sold-out crowd. Joined by the dynamic openers Pollyanna and Loveless, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation long before the first chord was struck.
Pollyanna, the opening act, wasted no time in getting the crowd hyped up, belting out tracks from their debut album Slime, including the infectious anthem “SLUT.”, while also delivering a memorable cover of Lady Gaga’s “Judas”, with the crowd singing along. Their infectious energy and raw talent served as the perfect prelude to the main event.
Loveless took the stage next, captivating the audience with their latest singles such as “Addicted,” “Picasso,” and “Drag Me Down.” Despite a little hiccup with lead singer Julian Comeau losing his voice mid-performance, they powered through like champs, engaging with the crowd and even raising a fan’s flag in a moment of pure connection, solidifying the intimate connection between band and audience.
Kicking off the evening with electrifying energy, Waterparks launched into “Watch What Happens Next” from their third studio album, FANDOM, setting the tone for an unforgettable performance and night. Transitioning into the infectious beats of “Blonde” from their second album, Entertainment, the crowd was buzzing with energy, totally caught up in the moment.
As the night reached its peak, Waterparks returned to the spotlight, treating fans to a memorable finale. Closing out with all-time fan favorites like “I Miss Having Sex but at Least I Don’t Wanna Die Anymore” and “FUNERAL GREY,” the energy in the venue soared. For their encore, they graced the stage once more to deliver the hauntingly beautiful “REAL SUPER DARK” from their latest album, leaving the audience longing for more.
In a whirlwind of pulsating rhythms and electrifying performances, Waterparks, Pollyanna, and Loveless delivered a night that will be etched in the memories of their fans for years to come.
