Lucky Daye is an RnB and Neo-Soul artist whose vocal and songwriting abilities have put him in the spotlight.
Hailing from New Orleans, Lucky Daye has shown that dreams have no expirations. He dropped his fourth studio album Algorithm with features from RAYE and Teddy Swims. Now, with Fana Hues’ help, he has hit the road across the states.
Lucky Daye hit the stage with an all-black attire with a blinged-out belt for a statement piece. The crowd immediately went crazy as soon as he started his set with songs like “Never Leavin’ U Lonely,” “Extra” and “NWA.” The Houston crowd seemed to be vibing with him as he danced across the stage and showed off his swaggy dance moves.
“Let’s see how many day-one Lucky Daye fans are in here,” he says as he transitions to older songs from his catalog. Songs performed from the albums Painted and Table for Two gave a chance for his deeper fans to hear out some of their favorites.
A highlight of the show was when Lucky Daye brought up one fan on stage for a sensual rendition of “Paralyzed.” The crowd loved seeing this fun but steamy interaction between Daye and a fan. This made me think “Oh real RnB is back,” due to the scandalous effect.
Finishing his set with some of his biggest hits like “Over” and “Lemonade,” Lucky Daye is an artist whose live versions are ones who sometimes like over the studio version. He is an artist who thrived during live performances to show off his swag and artistry.
Lucky Daye is continuing his tour across the states, so if you want a night for fun, rnb and high emotions then make sure to catch a show!
