Omar Courtz Performs His Breakthrough Sophomore Album in Houston

Omar Courtz brought the Por Si Mañana No Estoy tour to a sold-out Toyota Center, delivering a electric one-man Reggaeton performance to Houston fans.

Omar Courtz played a sold-out at White Oak Music Hall in Houston about a year ago during his tour promoting his debut album. He originally was set to perform his latest album at 713 Music Hall, but his increasing popularity meant demand was high. He sold out his initial show and eventually moved to Toyota Center, Houston’s arena venue. Fans poured in wearing fully dressed thematic get-ups, fully matching the look for his latest release Por Si Mañana No Estoy – fits included butterfly costumes, fairy-like apparel and Galactic-like tones that covered the arena in an explosion of color.

The masses went absolutely crazy as Ousi started shouting out different Latin countries, such as Mexico, Cuba, and Venezuela. He grabbed his Puerto Rican flag as they tune to “VeLDÁ” (his iconic feature with Bad Bunny and Dei V) began to play, showing the importance of his culture to his music.

From full-blown productions on the main stage and moving seamlessly from hits to deep-cuts, the impression Omar Courtz gave Houston proved his status as a rising artist in the Latin music scene.
