ALT 103.7 Presents ALTERIUM in Irving, TX

Alternative artists 311, The Beaches, Badflower, Almost Monday, and Larry G(ee) are on the lineup for this year’s ALTERIUM taking place at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas. 

On May 10, Dallas alternative rock station ALT 103.7 is hosting their annual day festival, ALTERIUM. Here is some insight on the fantastic artists from this year’s lineup:

311

311 is a rock band from Omaha, Nebraska. The band formed in 1988 and solidified their lineup in 1992, which features Nick Hexum (vocals, guitar), Aaron Wills (bass), Chad Sexton (drums), Tim Mahoney (guitars), and Doug Martinez (vocals, turntables). In 1993, 311 released their debut album titled Music, and have since put out several more studio and live albums. Throughout the years, the band has achieved mainstream success, and the track “Amber” from their 2001 album From Chaos has accumulated more than 300 million streams on Spotify.  In 2024, the band released a couple of singles as well as the 30th-anniversary edition of their album Grassroots and their new album Full Bloom. 311 is known for its band commitment, positive messaging, and loyal fans. This act will surely draw in listeners of all ages with their feel-good music and electric performances. 

THE BEACHES

The Beaches is an all-female pop-rock band from Toronto. The band formed over 10 years ago in 2013, and started when the members were teenage best friends. The Beaches is composed of Jordan Miller (vocals, bass), Kylie Miller (guitar), Eliza Enman-McDaniel (drums), and Leandra Earl (keyboards, guitar). In 2018, they won the Juno Award for Breakthrough Group of the Year. The band has almost 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and their song “Blame Brett” has amassed over 94 million streams. They have found international success, especially in Canada, Australia, and the United States. This month, The Beaches released their track “Last Girls At The Party”, the latest in their series of singles. Later this year, the band will release their highly anticipated third studio album No Hard Feelings. This act may be an online TikTok sensation, but they bring their powerful vocals and catchy instrumentals to the live stage. 

BADFLOWER

Badflower is an alternative band from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2013 and is comprised of Josh Katz (vocals, guitar), Joey Morrow (guitar), Anthony Sonetti (drums), and Alex Espiritu (bass). Badflower’s debut album OK, I’M SICK was released in 2019, and their single “Ghost” has garnered more than 86 million streams on Spotify. The band has almost a million monthly listeners, with Dallas being one of their top five streaming cities. Over the years, Badflower has produced numerous rock hits and also won Best Modern Rock Band at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards. In 2025 the band has released two singles, “London” and “Paws”, and their third studio album No Place Like Home comes out this June. This act is known for their powerful songwriting and genuine sound, which will make for an unique and unforgettable set. 

ALMOST MONDAY

Almost Monday is an indie-pop band from San Diego, California. The band launched in 2015 while the musicians were in college, and its members include Dawson Daugherty (vocals), Cole Clisby (guitar), and Luke Fabry (bass). Almost Monday has 1.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and their track “sunburn” has more than 36 million streams. Last year, the band released their debut album DIVE, and in January they released a deluxe version of the record which featured three new songs. Inspired by the culture in California, Almost Monday’s music perfectly embodies the warm temperature and beautiful scenery. Over the past few months, the band played several sold-out shows on “The Dive Tour” across Asia, North America, and Europe. Despite being from across the country, this act is sure to bring the good vibes and sunny weather with them to Texas. 

LARRY G(EE)

Larry G(ee) is a pop artist from Dallas, Texas. In 2011, he released his debut EP titled Weekends, which brought about the fan-favorite song “Yo Mama”. Last year, Larry G(ee) released his 9-track album The Get Back, which won Album of the Year at the 2025 Dallas Entertainment Awards. In September, his song “Find Your Way to My Heart” was also included on a joint compilation album by North Texas station KXT 91.7 FM and Whataburger. Taking inspiration from different genres and iconic musicians, this act is the perfect example of local Dallas talent.
