Bedroom pop artist Adriel Rivera proves his musical capability on his monthly track releases, an unique sound that cannot be ignored.
The new year seems very promising for young artist Adriel Rivera. Since 2016, Rivera has been a YouTube content creator and most recently made the decision to become a full-time artist as a result of his growing listener count on Spotify. Before his transition to music, he consistently released singles (eventually creating three albums) while continuing to make music production tutorial videos. Rivera now has taken a different approach by releasing month-by-month tracks to keep increasing his listener count.
Interested in music since he was young, Rivera started utilizing music to express his introspection and feelings towards his personal life. His initial projects The Unattainable State of Mind and Music Therapy are reflections of his life experiences during his youth and a display of his steady incline of making music. His most recent project, i’ll see you there, offers a shifted listening experience from the latter that falls under the bedroom pop genre. New releases like garden of devotion feature soft-spoken vocals and smooth-toned backing tracks that are heard in earlier tracks queen beetle and bloomfield west.
Rivera has always been proud of his independent musical journey — he shared his process and achievements on his YouTube Channel from the start and posted his milestones on Instagram. He allows his listeners to see the front and back end of his career by uploading videos of his self-built studio and behind the scenes of his music videos and track compositions. By connecting with his audiences through music and disposition, Adriel Rivera is on his way to be a versatile, well-rounded artist.
