Slow Hollows Performs Their Most Anticipated Show at White Oak Music Hall in Houston

Slow Hollows brought their Dog Heaven Tour to Houston with opener, computerwife.

Los Angeles based indie rock band, Austin Feinstein of Slow Hollows finally made their return to Houston and played at White Oak Music Hall on Sunday, April 28th in support of their brand new album, Bullhead. The lineup included New York City based band, Computerwife fronted by Addie Warncke.

At the start of the show, opener Computerwife performed an upbeat and magnetic energy that sprouts from their indie-rock/grunge sound that was magnetic and hard not to dance and jam out to. It was so much fun to watch a group of people rock out and enjoy themselves on stage. This aspect shows how much they all adore the music they make together and their bond with one another to generate a captivating set.

In addition, the small intimate crowd at the Houston show could not have been more perfect for Slow Hollows as it created a small band of community that is essential for building a connection. The band performed songs from their discography such as Spirit Week” and newer additions from their recent album, Bullhead. The energy and liveliness from the band radiated from the stage garnering the excitement and the infatuation from the crowd.

After the show, Slow Hollows and computerwife hanged out by their merch booth and spent time meeting and talking to fans which was absolutely heartwarming showing their endless appreciation towards their audience. My experience meeting both bands was nothing but exceptional and of the highest regard. It was as if we were all old friends hanging out catching up with one another and making inside jokes. It is very important to treat and have the ultimate respect for artists and also take a step back to remind yourselves that they are just like us.
