Treaty Oak Revival sold out the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas, with an addictive mix of rock and Texan country blasting through the venue. Openers Huser Brothers and Austin Meade, set the tone for the crowd to dance and sing along to the very last note played in the night.
As the line formed into Toyota Music Factory, it was easy to see that with the number of fans strolling over to get their tickets scanned, the show had to be sold out. With droplets of sweat rolling down the faces of eager concert-goers outside the venue, anticipation (not only for some air conditioning) was evident in the air.
The heated Texas night began with the Waco native band, Huser Brothers, who immediately got the crowd moving. Their set felt like almost a family jam session, with amazing instrumentals, vocals, and production. It was clear from the fans’ interaction that they were locked into the set and ready for a night of music from the start of the first track. With the Huser Brothers’ signature harmonies, along with their easygoing energy, it was hard not to be captivated by their set.

Next up on stage was Austin Meade, a country-rock style artist from New Braunfels, who took the night in a completely different direction. His set was on the heavier side, with super-evident guitar riffs and harder vocals. Meade’s songs had a darker edge to them, and his confidence on stage felt almost magnetic. By the end of the set, you could see the anticipation in the audience’s eyes. After Meade’s high-energy set, the crowd was even more excited for Treaty Oak to make their presence on stage.

When, one by one, the Treaty Oak Revival band members finally stepped out on stage, the venue absolutely lit up. Something about the way the Odessa native band creates a balanced blend of rock-driven sounds and a Texan country twang. While playing their fan favorites like “Missed Call” and “In Between,” the sing-alongs were so loud that they almost drowned out the speakers. The energy in the audience was incredible, and the stage presence from the band was even better. With cups of beer flying through the air and lots of movement on stage, it felt like a huge party in which everyone felt included and in common love of catchy country songs and a mix of talented rock riffs.
The fact that the show was sold out was not surprising, but it really said a lot about how Treaty Oak Revival is a band that is a must-see when it comes to live performances. On a hot summer night, Treaty Oak Revival didn’t just play a few songs on stage; they created an exciting experience for each concertgoer in the venue. With the help of the openers Huser Brothers and Austin Meade, it was the perfect blend of musical talent that didn’t disappoint. Overall, Treaty Oak Revival is a must-see band to see live, and whether you are a country music veteran or new to this genre, this live show was an unforgettable experience of incredible music.

I am currently attending the University of North Texas with a photojournalism major. I love going to concerts of all genres, whether I am stage diving or headbanging, I never miss an opportunity to appreciate live music. In my free time, I enjoy thrifting for CD's and records, spending time with my cats, going to art exhibits, and traveling (especially to NYC). My biggest inspiration is Danny Clinch, and one day I aspire to open up my own gallery to showcase my work!
