Forever Came Calling Celebrated Ten Years of Contender at Mohawk

Forever Came Calling played a sold-out show at Mohwak in Austin, TX. 

Forever Came Calling took the stage at Mohawk on Friday, September 9 in Austin, TX. Hailing from Southern California, Forever Came Calling is on the road for the 10 Years of Contender tour. The band expressed their gratitude with shared crowd for celebrating their debut album with them. They closed their set with by playing a few favorites from their discography like, “Substances” and “August is Home.”

New Jersey-based power punk band, Pollyanna, kicked the show off with an incredible set wowing the crowd with their grunge sound. Austin’s own pop punk band, Nominee, was up next playing crowd favorites like “Kitchen Sink”, and a cover of “Somebody Kill Me” from The Wedding Singer. Homesafe was the final opener of the show. The Chicago alternative band had the crowd moving to popular tracks like “Save Me and “Vanilla Scented-Laser Beams.” 

I am an Austin-based photographer and social media manager.
