Key Glock Brings Southern Heat and Heart to Houston on GLOCKAVELI Tour

On Friday, May 23, 2025, Key Glock and the GLOCKAVELI Tour made a memorable stop at Houston’s 713 Music Hall. He delivered a night filled with energy, surprise guests, and heartfelt tributes.

The evening kicked off with an electrifying performance by Sheck Wes, whose high-octane set, including his breakout hit “Mo Bamba,” had the crowd buzzing and set the stage for the main event.

Key Glock took the stage with commanding presence, launching into tracks from his latest album, GLOCKAVELI, such as “3AM in ToKEYo” and “No Sweat.” His signature midtempo flow and trap beats resonated with the audience, keeping the energy levels high throughout his set.

Midway through the show, Glock surprised fans by bringing out Houston’s own Maxo Kream for a live rendition of their collaborative track “Fetti.” The chemistry between the two artists was palpable, igniting the audience and paying homage to Houston’s vibrant hip-hop scene. The excitement continued as Bun B, a legend in Houston’s hip-hop community, joined Glock on stage, further electrifying the atmosphere and bridging generations of Southern rap.

Towards the end of the performance, Glock paid tribute to his late mentor and cousin, Young Dolph, who was tragically killed in 2021. He shared heartfelt words about Dolph’s influence on his life and career, then performed “100 Shots,” one of Dolph’s most iconic tracks. The audience joined in, creating a powerful moment of remembrance and unity.

Throughout the night, the production was top-notch, with crisp lighting and booming sound that complemented Glock’s performance without overshadowing it.

In a city known for its rich musical heritage, Key Glock’s Houston show stood out as a testament to his growing influence and dedication to the craft. By blending new material with heartfelt nods to the local scene and honoring his roots, he not only entertained but also paid homage to the legacy of Southern hip-hop.

I was born and raised in Houston Texas, and i've been doing shooting concert photography. Other than photography I love hanging out with my friends, the Astros, and traveling.
