Chezile invites Zinadelphia to team up with him to co-headline in Texas during the “Wish You Were Here Tour”. The two left fans with a night to remember.
Nearing the end of their tour across North America, Zinadelphia and Chezile bring their second-to-last show to Dallas. Fans gathered at The Echo Lounge and Music Hall that night for an intimate performance from two of their favorite artists.
Indie pop artist Zinadelphia was ecstatic to be back in Texas and made the most of her set that night in Dallas. Opening with one of her newest songs, “The Seamstress”, and got to play her latest song, “Call Up Nancy”. She even played a game of “put your finger down” to “see if your man is mid”. Zinadelphia’s set was not only fun and upbeat, but she also had the chance to explain some of her songs and how they came to be. Zinadelphia is the type of artist who loves to incorporate other portions of her life into her music as well. As a graphic design major and upcyclist/seamstress, she created a physical magazine for fans to buy at her show, to go along with her latest album, The Magazine.

Co-headliner, Chezile, also had an amazing set that night in Dallas. Playing fan favorites such as “Still In Love” and “Run Away”, fans were singing to the top of their lungs. Chezile also performed an amazing cover of “Dark Red” by Steve Lacy. Fans could feel the emotion behind the lyrics much more in person as the crowd had filled the room with passion and emotion as they sang along with Chezile that night. He even had the crowd sing just by themselves for a few lines during songs. To end the night, Chezile sang his hit song, “Beanie” and expressed his gratitude towards his fans in Dallas that night.

Also joining them on tour is singer-songwriter, Alex Banin, who was a perfect addition to the tour. Fans were buzzing about her after her set in Dallas that night and some may have even added Alex to their favorite artists list.

Both artists were extremely busy for the couple of weeks that they were in Texas. Not only because of each of their tours, but also because both artists got the chance to play at Austin City Limits this year, with Chezile playing both weekends and Zinadelphia at weekend one.
I live in Dallas, Texas and work as a real-estate photographer. I graduated from The University of North Texas with a BFA in Studio Photography. Photography takes up my whole life and I wouldn't have it any other way. In my free time I like to watch movies and play video games.
