Artist Bktherula is an American singer and rapper who is on her East Coast tour called The Lucy Experience Tour; with only a few shows left on the tour she makes her mark in Chicago for one night only with special guests.
At Avondale Music Hall, fans of all ages make their way into the show super ecstatic over seeing Bktherula to perform tonight. As the crowd filled up the floor, the lights dimmed down and the show began for the night starting off with opener Zukenee. Everyone was hyped over his arrival to the stage as he performed songs like “ILY 2” and “SLAYER DISEASE” from past 2024 album BIRTH OF ST SLAY. Zukenee recently dropped an album this month called KNIGHT SHIFT with killer visuals to match the new album cover with medieval art to match his bold set for the night.

In between his set, he brought out a special surprise of a Chicago Native Artist, Thirteendegrees. He came out and performed “PALACE” as his opening song, which is the latest release from his album BLACK FRIDAYZ. Thirteen then brought the crowd to its loudest when he ended it with “Da Problem Solva” as one of his notable hits. Although it was a short set, crowds were excited to see what was to come next.

As the crowd remains in motion and not too long after, Bktherula makes her grand appearance and the fans go insane with all phone lights on and jumping throughout the show. Bk is an artist from Atlanta, Georgia; whose music ranges from alternative hip-hop and emo rap with a strong fanbase in Chicago that aligns with her evolving aesthetics in music and fashion.
Song after song, fans were singing every word from the front row when it came to “CODE”, “DELILAH”, “BIG FEELING” and “RIP”. Chicago fans went insane for each song that I almost didn’t catch one person slacking for their love for Bk for the Lucy Experience Tour. This is a celebration for her newest album LUCY which was released in June.

Not to mention, past songs that were performed like “SANTANNY” and “TAN” where fans began moshpitting with hands in the air and overall having a killer experience at the show. She finished off the night with her most significant hit “Tweakin’ Together” to end the Lucy Experience in Chicago. Bk will be continuing this tour until November 25 if you haven’t had a chance to go yet.
