Josh Fudge releases his long anticipated album Technicolor, giving fans more pop anthems to love.
osh Fudge is certainly not new to the indie-pop scene. This singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist from Oklahoma has made ripples in the indie-pop world while gaining a strong following along the way.
Fudge’s first song off the album, titled “Technicolor”, sets the mood for a party with melodic synths and fluid baselines comparable to early Passion Pit or MGMT. Although musically similar at times to these iconic synth party sounds, Josh Fudge’s smooth silky voice makes it a one of a kind gem.
This fourteen song album is a good time from start to end with no skips. The variety heard on this album is nothing but impressive. Upbeat dance jams at the front end, spacey-dream pop sprinkled throughout, and disco-pop driven beats filling in the gaps making this one amazingly cohesive album. Go check out Technicolor now you’ll be glad you did!
