Singer Destin Conrad Takes Over the House of Blues Dallas

On February 7th, Destin Conrad brought his SUBMISSIVE TOUR to Dallas, bringing along Amaria as support.

Starting off the night was an R&B singer hailing from Florida, Amaria, who first burst onto the music scene with her single “Morning” in 2020, swiftly followed by “Waiting”, “Twilight”, “Moon”, and “REWIND.” The album featured the breakout hit “Lose Control”, which garnered significant attention online. Particularly, “Morning” and “Twilight” caught the eye of many internet users. Amaria’s music embodies the classic R&B vibe with its slow, sensual melodies, but she adds her own distinctive touch. Her vocals are both melodious and alluring, yet delicate. Amaria’s songs evoke a sense of nostalgia while also presenting something fresh and innovative. Fans of R&B, whether aficionados of the genre’s classics or newcomers, can find something to admire in Amaria’s work, and it’s evident that many future R&B artists will draw inspiration from her ahead-of-her-time music.

Destin Conrad, the 23-year-old sultry R&B vocalist, originating from Tampa, Florida broke into the music scene as a newcomer. As a relatively fresh face in the music scene, he made his debut in 2019 with the track “CAUTIOUS”, and this latest release marks his fourth mini-album. Conrad initially gained traction on Vine, where he accumulated more than 1 million followers and formed a collaborative bond with Kehlani. Destin showcased an impressive lineup of songs and vocal performance that captivated the audience Wednesday night. Conrad’s new album SUBMISSIVE2 acts as a follow-up to last year’s SUBMISSIVE. Over the course of his career, he has carved out a niche as an R&B artist, although he doesn’t confine himself strictly to that genre.
