Mickey Darling Rocks Out at the Factory

Last week, duo Mickey Darling stopped at the Factory in Dallas for their I’m Almost Over U, I Promise tour. On this tour, they are joined by singer-songwriter Nick Wagen.

Long before the doors opened, Mickey Darling fans lined up in the front of the venue to secure a spot at the barricade. The first act of the night was Nick Wagen, a pop artist from Indiana. Nick has almost eighty thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, and his track “Confusion” has accumulated more than five million streams. Throughout his set, Nick was joined by his additional guitarist Ben Ironside. Nick performed a selection of his original songs, and also played his new single “BLAH BLAH BLAH” alongside Mickey Darling member, Austin Medrano. Additionally, Nick performed a dreamy cover of The Neighbourhood’s hit track “Sweater Weather.”

The final act of the night, Mickey Darling, is a pop group from San Antonio. Mickey Darling has more than two-hundred thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, and their track “Reverse Cowgirl” has garnered almost twelve million streams. A couple of songs into their set, both members jumped into the crowd to join their fans. The duo’s setlist incorporated a variety of fan favorite tracks such as “Big Sad,” “VROOM VROOM” and “SAY THAT YOU MISS ME.”

Overall, both Nick Wagen and Mickey Darling delivered fun, upbeat performances that perfectly jump started the concert season.
