Glaive Heated Things Up at Scoot Inn in Austin

Glaive played an upbeat performance on a hot summer night at The Scoot Inn on Tuesday, August 1 in Austin, TX.

The 18-year old artist is touring across the U.S. on his debut album that was released last month titled i care so much that i don’t care at all. The hyperpop artist had the crowd elevated during songs like “the car” and “something else”. The artist expressed his gratitude to the crowd for making his time in Texas such a positive experience despite the heat.

Origami Angel joined Glaive on the i care so much that i don’t care at all tour. The alternative duo showed off their emo pop sound and had the crowd surfing towards the stage. Origami Angel also had a recent EP released this summer titled The Brightest Days. During their set they played the title track off their more EP, “Thank you, New Jersey” and fan favorites like “Doctor Whomst.”

Starting off the night was New York City-based rapper, Polo Perks. The heat took over the equipment at the start of the show but after the computer was iced off, he brought the energy to a new level.
