Silverstein Celebrated 10 Years of ‘This is How the Wind Shifts’ in San Antonio

Silverstein took the stage in San Antonio, Texas on December 6 to celebrate 10 years of their seventh album This is How The Wind Shifts. The Canadian post-hardcore band opened the set with an absolute banger, “Bankrupt” to set the energy for the rest of the show.

Silverstein played some of their greatest hits in between songs from This is How The Wind Shifts during their set. Before the show started the band announced that they were letting people vote on two of the songs that would be included during the set. During the show, they announced the winners of the vote and played “Your Sword Versus My Dagger” and “Smashed Into Pieces.” Some of the other greatest hits songs that they played included newer tracks like “Infinite,” “Afterglow,” and my favorite, “The Altar/Mary.”

The five-piece closed out the set with an encore ending with the heaviest song on This is How The Wind Shifts, “Stand Amid the Roar.”

Silverstein is being supported on their tour by Stray From The Path and Avoid.
