We Are “Still Woozy” After Still Woozy’s Sold Out Show at the Georgia Theatre

Still Woozy performs at the Georgia Theater.

Last Friday, Still Woozy danced the house down at the Georgia Theatre in Athens, Georgia with special guest Mazie.

To start the night, opening act Mazie brought her indie-alternative pop tunes to the Georgia Theatre stage. Her latest album The Rainbow Cassette was released back in 2021 and most recently released her newest single, “all i ever wanted (was you).” During her set, she played some of her biggest hits, like “i think i wanna be alone,” “dumb dumb,” and “no friends.” Mazie came out wearing a cute and colorful sweater vest and glitter. She and her band put on a great show and were captivating to watch up on stage. Mazie has been touring with Still Woozy on his current tour for the past couple of weeks. She killed her performance, and the audience absolutely adored her.

As soon as Sven, who goes by the stage name Still Woozy, ran through a curtain and came on stage, the crowd went insane. During his set, the band handed out sunflowers to audience members and later held a dance battle on stage against one another. Still Woozy played all of his greatest hits, such as “Goodie Bag,” “Cooks,” “Habit,” and “Lucy.” He also played his newest single “Pool,” a collaboration between him and Remi Wolf that was released earlier this year. His latest album, If This Isn’t Nice, I Don’t Know What Is, came out in 2021 and has been gaining much attraction from fans and social media platforms.

Sven started making music back in 2017 and has been on a successful streak ever since. Still Woozy is the solo project that he works on in his home studio and garage. He and his band define their genre of music as indie rock and indie pop. He stands out amongst other performers due to his fun and eccentric dance moves. He kicked off his tour back in May and will perform and travel throughout the rest of the summer. If you have a chance to see him live, you will not regret it. The audience left the theater in tears of joy and amusement. The streets were crowded with fans who took photos outside of the venue and waited alongside the tour to catch a glimpse of their favorite artist.
