Unleash Your Inner Pop-Punk at the Idobi Radio Summer School Tour This Summer

Idobi Radio presents the Summer School tour, with a stacked lineup featuring Stand Atlantic, Magnolia Park, Scene Queen and more.

The Summer School tour is a brand new festival in the pop-punk realms, created by music veterans Eric Tobin (Hopeless Records), Mike Kaminsky (KMGMT) and Kevin Lyman (Warped Tour founder). The inaugural touring festival is meant to fully support independent artists, record labels, venues and promoters, as it aims to use its sponsors (such as Hot Topic and Microsoft) to pay bands reasonable rates and keep the ticket price as low as possible. Each purchase of a ticket also includes a charity donation to the Save the Music Foundation, which “helps students, schools and communities reach their full potential through the power of making music.”

The lineup is full of up-and-coming bands in the scene, including Australian pop-punk band Stand Atlantic, who will be releasing their fourth album Was Here this August. Other bands on the lineup include Orlando-based pop-punk band Magnolia Park, Blake Coddington’s musical project letdown., and TikTok’s favorite pop-rock band Honey Revenge. The Home Team is also set to perform, who are well-known for their high energy shows and songs like “Right Through Me” and “She’s Quiet.”

According to a Summer School Tour representative, the lineup is meant to highlight the diversity of music and culture amongst the pop-punk realms, and it does exactly that as the lineup includes people-of-color and female-led/non-binary acts. The Summer School tour will kick off on Wednesday, July 10th in Cleveland, OH at the Agora Ballroom and will wrap up in Anaheim, CA on Sunday, August 17th at City National Grove. I'm a full-time music journalist/photographer from Houston, number one Paramore fan and Husky dog owner. I have a B.S in Radio-Television-Film from UT Austin and a M.A in Mass Communications from the University of Houston, which makes me smart! On top of being an avid concert-goer and movie fanatic, I love bonding with others over the power of local music and media.
