After the release of their newest album, Growing Pains, pop-trio Trousdale set off on an extensive tour that started in May 2025 and is set to end later this year in October. For their second stop, the group brought the tour to White Oak Music Hall in Houston, Texas on May 30th.
Cowboy hats and sparkles filled the venue as Trousdale’s Houston fans eagerly awaited the band’s arrival on stage. Everyone’s looks matched perfectly with the show’s theme,”Heartbreaker Theme,” which was revealed on the band’s Instagram at the beginning of May. Any show can be fun, but a themed night like this made it all the more exciting.

Around 9 pm, Trousdale took the stage to roaring cheers from the crowd. With only bright smiles and warm waves from the band, the energy in the room instantly shot up. It was clear the night was going to be something special. The set kicked off with “Lonely Night” and “Growing Pains,” both off of their newest project.
Behind the band was a backdrop that read “TROUSDALE” in big yellow letters, shadowed by three colors: green, pink and blue, a common theme between the members of the group. Quinn D’Andrea is typically seen wearing green, Georgia Greene in pink and Lauren Jones in blue. It felt like a beautiful reflection of each member and the band as a whole. Each color stands out on its own, yet together they create something even more striking, just like their sound. Individually, each member has a powerful voice, but when they sing together, their harmonies blend seamlessly like perfectly fitting pieces of a puzzle.

Aside from their musical talent and their stand-out style, their stage presence is something to be commended as well. In between songs, they told the stories behind them, talked to fans and provided entertaining banter amongst themselves that further entertained the audience.
Other standout moments included Trousdale’s medley of songs from the musical Wicked, their heartfelt performance of “Movie Star,” which was dedicated to a couple in the crowd who shared they fell in love to the song, and a powerful rendition of “How To Be 18,” in honor of the ongoing fight for abortion rights in the South. The show was overall incredibly moving, captivating and absolutely unforgettable.

I am from Houston, Texas and currently attending the University of Houston as a marketing major! From attending concerts, playing guitar, and collecting vinyl, I love anything that has to do with music. Some of my favorite artists include The Strokes, Omar Apollo, and boygenius. Besides that, I really like shopping, watching Pitch Perfect, and discovering new places in Houston!
