The Struts visited House of Blues in Houston on September 25 with special guest Dirty Honey during their North American tour celebrating the ten year anniversary of their debut album Everybody Wants.
British Rock band The Struts released their first album Everybody Wants on March 4, 2016. Several of their biggest hits hail from this record, including “Kiss This” and “Could Have Been Me”. In early September 2025, a new version of “Could Have Been Me” featuring the legendary Brian May of Queen was released in celebration of its upcoming ten year anniversary. Additionally, The Struts have embarked on a North American tour beginning in July to celebrate the milestone. They visited House of Blues on September 25 with Dirty Honey and put on a remarkable performance.
Dirty Honey kicked off the night with high energy. The rock band from Los Angeles, California formed back in 2017, but have gained many new fans in recent months after their debut single “When I’m Gone” was featured in “A Minecraft Movie”. The band also recently collaborated with Bad Company on their latest single “Rock Steady”, released on September 12. Dirty Honey embodied the true classic rock vibe as they performed. The band played their catchiest tunes including “California Dreamin’” and “Won’t Take Me Alive”. They concluded their set with the hit song “Rolling 7s” before heading to the merch stand to sign autographs and meet fans.

The Struts entered the stage and began their set with “Primadonna Like Me” and “Body Talks”, which is their second most popular track. The fans were loving it from the start. Frontman Luke Spiller had wild dance moves and unbelievable stage presence, which was apparent from the very start. After getting the audience excited after the first two songs, Spiller acknowledged the crowd and spoke about the milestone of The Struts’ debut record Everybody Wants turning ten years old.
The band then proceeded to play all thirteen tracks from the record in order from start to finish. They were very interactive with the audience all night without taking away from the music. Seeing The Struts live isn’t simply watching a performance, it’s an interactive and spectacular experience. Everybody Wants is an album jam packed with hits, and it was wonderful getting to experience them all live in one night. “Kiss This”, “Dirty Sexy Money” and “These Times Are Changing” are a few stand out tracks from the record that sounded even better live.

The night was such a success, and every fan left feeling satisfied. The Struts go on tour frequently, and it’s highly recommended that you check them out if you can.
I’m a Houston based photographer who loves being around live music and all the creative people involved in the local music scene. I enjoy capturing performers and artists doing what they love and the essence of how live music makes people feel. When Im not behind the lens, I love trying new things and visiting new places.
