The Haunt Celebrate Their First North American Tour in Austin

The Haunt

The Haunt’s stop in Austin marked a special moment for the Florida-based sibling duo, as the show at Mohawk indoor served as part of their first North American headlining tour. With support from British rock band The Himalayas and Australian artist Chez, the night was a carefully paced build of energy and atmosphere as The Haunt finally took the stage.

Kicking off the night, The Himalayas came onto the stage ready to steal the hearts of the crowd. The British band expressed their energy, jumping across the stage and leaning fully into the crowd, blurring the line between performer and audience. Their presence made the room feel instantly smaller, pulling everyone into the moment and prepping the crowd for the rest of the night.

Next up, Australian artist Chez followed, stepping onstage in sparkly jeans that immediately caught the light and attention of the room. She commanded the stage with confidence and charisma. Her onstage chemistry with her band was clear which created a dynamic and bubbly energy that radiated into the crowd. Chez’s set felt playful and exciting with many fan and audience interactions.

By the time The Haunt came out, the anticipation had reached all time highs and the crowd went wild. The sibling duo delivered a visually striking and sonically immersive set, complete with their own lighting and platforms that elevated the performance both literally and figuratively. Front woman Anastasia dominated the stage with haunting poise, her eerie, doll-like presence perfectly matching the band’s dark alternative aesthetic. She moved with intention, captivating the audience with every stare and gesture.

On guitar, her brother Maxamillion delivered crushing riffs, frequently breaking down the wall between performer and audience member. His engagement made the performance feel intimate despite the scale of the production. A standout moment came when the band played one of their earliest songs, “Cigarettes & Feelings,” revived by its recent resurgence on social media. The crowd sang along word for word, dancing and shouting lyrics.
