The Band Camino Plays a Sold Out Show at the Georgia Theater

On Wednesday, September 14th, The Band Camino entertained a lively college crowd down in Athens, Georgia as part of their third show of the University Campus Tour.

The night was off to a great start when the opening act, Knox, came out on stage at 7:30 pm. The up-and-coming star got famous from his song, “Sneakers,” that went viral on TikTok a couple months back. Him and his band played their hits, “Leg Day,” “Cold,” “Sneakers,” and their newest single “ I Don’t Wanna Know” that came out this month. The artist also played a few unreleased songs that are expected to come out later this year! Knox and his band put on an amazing show, and he will continue to tour with the band until October.

Around 8:45 pm, The Band CAMINO entered the music hall and the crowd went wild. People were decked out in light-up pink cowboy boy hats, held posters, and threw flowers onstage for their favorite musicians. They played their biggest singles, such as “2/14,” “Daphne Blue,” “Roses,” and “California.”

The band is from Knoxville, Tennessee and together, they started making music back in college. Their first ep, “My Thoughts On You,” came out in 2016. Their latest album, “The Band CAMINO,” came out last year. They previously went on a national tour, but are currently on their University Campus Tour. This tour lasts only a few weeks, and they have visited a few southeastern cities. Some of the college towns include Columbia, South Carolina and Oxford, Mississippi. They will end their tour October 1st in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
