‘The Asylum’ In Denton Hosts Another Killer Show

Recently, The Asylum, a house show venue in Denton, featured Lady Pipe, Terrestrial, WZRD, AMBERSICK, and Drug Of Choice. Fans rocked the night away.

The show opened strongly with  DFW alternative band Lady Pipe.  who set the mood for the night, by playing several hits from their self-titled album. Their set included  ‘I-20′, ‘Ain’t  It Just The Shit’ and ‘A Ticking’

After Lady Pipe finished performing, Terrestrial performed next. They had an amazing stage presence and musicality. Following in their footsteps, the band WZRD performed in wizard hats. They never once broke their character as they pretended to be wizards on stage,

Upon finishing, Denton pop-punk band Ambersick came on. They started their performance with their song “Punky D”, igniting the crowd’s excitement. They played several of their hits, including “Beast Of The Knight”, “Our Time Now”, and “Nitroglycerin” . After playing their originals, they ended the night with a cover of “Covet” by Basement, receiving a resounding applause from their audience.

However, all good things must come to an end, and DFW shoegaze band Drug Of Choice would finish the night as strongly as it started with their hit song “Killing God” and “Love Isn’t Dead”, finishing with a sharp cover of “Breed” by Nirvana.

The show was truly phenomenal and brought fans from all over the DFW. If you can, catch a show at Denton’s The Asylum. This house show venue always manages to bring a lively night to its attendees through the power of live music.
