Susannah Joffe’s Headlining Show at Antone’s Nightclub

Austin-based singer/songwriter Susannah Joffe played an incredible headlining show at one of Austin’s premiere venues with special guests The Irons and Photokem.

Austin singer/songwriter Susannah Joffe has been writing songs with her dad since she was a child and played her first show at the age of 15. Susannah now attends the University of Texas at Austin and is quickly becoming a breakthrough artist. Susannah’s single “Backseat” was released this April with an impressive 10K streams in less than a week. Unlike most songs written along-side her dad, “Backseat” was written alone during quarantine. This time alone allowed her to discover her identity as a bisexual and wrote this as her coming out song. This pivotal moment for Susannah only added more color to her songwriting process as she discovered a new sound. “What Next Is About” is Susannah’s next single, set to release November 19, 2021 with the option to pre-save now on Spotify and Apple Music.

Susannah played an electric show to almost 400 of her fans at Antone’s this weekend, captivating them from the moment she stepped on stage. The room was full of excitement for the long awaited and highly anticipated show. Openers Photokem and The Irons were also fan favorites and warmed up the crowd with ease. Everything was leading up to the moment Joffe took the stage. Susannah’s sound is a blend of indie/pop and country with a strong soulful voice that blends it altogether. Joffe played all original songs with one surprise cover of “Jolene”. The crowd danced, sang and even threw a couple of bras on stage by the end of her show. Susannah Joffe is a true rockstar.
