From pop to rock, the So Satisfying Showcase had a packed crowd on a chilly SXSW night. The showcase included Rett Madison, Cafuné, Suceo and Pink Pantheress.
Opening the show was Americana artist, Rett Madison. Hailing from West Virginia, Madison charmed the crowd with her acoustic guitar and silky vocals. Her set featured tapped into love, friendship and being true to yourself with songs like “Pin Up Daddy” and “God is a Woman.”
The next band to hit the stage was Brooklyn-based duo, Cafuné. Their set was filled with alt-pop and soft-rock sounds that got the crowd swaying. Cafuné’s performed an electric set with a mixture of distorted and dreamy vocals in songs like “Talk” and “Tek It.”
Next up was Los Angeles based artist, Sueco. They had a few technical difficulties at the beginning of their set but kept the crowd pumped by playing a few covers and singing “Happy Birthday” to a fan in the audience. Once they started their set, they showcased their dynamic range of hip-hop, hardcore and hyperpop in songs like “Loser” and “Drunk Dial.”
PinkPantheress ended the showcase with the energy turned all the way up to high. The English singer-songwriter entertained the crowd with bedroom pop ballads and got the entire venue dancing to songs like “Just For Me” and closed her set with her TikTok hit, “Boy’s a Liar.”
The So Satisfying SXSW Showcase was presented by IMGN and Warner Music Group at Mala Vida on 6th Street in Austin, TX.
