Snail Mail headlined the ACL Live stage on May 2nd as part of the Valentine tour with support from The Goon Sax.
Snail Mail graced the stage at ACL Live Monday, May 2nd. Snail Mail opened her set with the title track from her sophomore album, Valentine. The album, which was released in 2021, is filled with songs about love and heartbreak, in which she portrayed the emotions on stage with cherubs and vines. Snail Mail slowed down for a few songs and played with her acoustic guitar for songs like “Forever (Sailing),” which got the crowd swaying.
Australian indie-pop group hailing from Brisbane, The Goon Sax, opened the show at ACL Live. Their 80s indie-pop sound had people banging their heads from the front to the back of the crowd. Their set was a diverse mix of grunge and melodic harmonies.
