Silverstein Celebrates 25 Years of Noise at Radio East

Silverstein made a stop in Austin, TX on their third and final leg of the 25 Years of Noise World Tour for a packed show at Radio East. The Canadian five-piece took the crowd on a journey through their 19 albums, starting with songs from their newest albums, Pink Moon and Antibloom. The set made its way into the Misery Made Me, A Beautiful Place to Drown and Dead Reflection eras with “The Altar” “Infinite” Bad Habits” and “The Afterglow.”

Silverstein took the crowd back 10 years into tracks from I Am Alive in Everything I Touch, This is How The Wind Shifts, Short Songs and Rescue. You could feel the shift as the band moved into their first half of their discography with A Shipwreck In The Sand and Arrivals & Departures. Lead singer, Shane Told, brought out an acoustic guitar for “The End” and sang “Worlds Apart” right into the chorus of “Helena” by My Chemical Romance.

The post-hardcore band took the crowd back to where it all started, Discovering the Waterfront and When Broken is Easily Fixed, playing their iconic songs like “Smile in Your Sleep,” “My Heroine,” “Already Dead,” “Your Sword Versus My Dagger,” “Smashed Into Pieces,” and “Bleeds No More.”

Thursday got the crowd ready for an incredible night of live music with an energetic set. “The Other Side of the Crash / Over and Out (Of Control)” Ended with “War All The Time”

Free Throw and Bloom are supporting Silverstein in their final leg of the tour.
