Even during Courtney’s opening act, the venue was packed to the brim. Fans knew that this night was not one to miss any minute of. This was clear with fans cheering along to the lyrics, loving every moment of the show. Barns Courtney commanded the audience, engaging the audience with every dance move and lyric he sang on stage. At one point, he wished a fan happy birthday, and urged the crowd to sing happy birthday with him. As the fans sang along, Courtney prepared for the rest of his high energy set list, featuring “London Girls”, “Fire”, and “Supernatural”.
The crowd danced and jumped along to the rest of his jam-packed setlist. Later, Courtney dove into the crowd, singing his lyrics into the mic amongst the crowd’s cheers. Next, The Struts matched Barns Courtney’s energy and performed an amazing set. Fans screamed when the band opened with the song “Primadonna Like Me”, and later followed it up with “Body Talks”.
The Struts had an amazing stage design in play for fans, fitted with amazing lighting, wardrobe, and an amazing backdrop. It was clear that they had been anticipating this tour as much as fans had. Each song brought an amazing level of energy, constantly exciting fans, and prompting dancing, headbanging, and jumping throughout the crowd. Later they played songs like “Dirty Sexy Money”, “Mary Go Round”, and “Kiss This”. They gave love to all of their past discography, playing songs from each of their albums, making sure new and old fans had a chance to enjoy themselves. They ended their set with “Could Have Been Me” and “Put Your Money on Me”.
