Hailing from New Jersey, Fousheé is an alternative R&B singer and talented instrumentalist who has broken into the music world with great melodies. She recently released her third album Pointy Heights and has hit the road to celebrate.
To open the night was Texan artist TisaKorean. Known for his “silly” character, he warmed up the night for Fousheé. He performed some of his viral hits, like “Dip (#thewoah)” and “PASTA” The crowd loved his performance, along with dance moves and a shirt giveaway. TisaKorean was a great way to warm up the night.
Next on stage was the star of the night, Fousheé. Her big break was her song “Deep End” which went viral on TikTok to then it was sampled by New York drill artists Sleepy Hallow. Both the original and sample tracks did great things for Fousheé. She is also known for her stunning features on “Sunshine” with Steve Lacy and “Sweet” with Teezo Touchdown. Foushee is the type of artist to add the cherry on top to any song.
Her energy on stage was calm but confident. A drummer and bassist played along with her as she played the guitar. Her all-black leather outfit and long hair made her shine like the star she is. Fousheé’s vocals live were as great as they are on records.
She played songs from her new album Pointy Heights as well as fan favorites from softCORE and time machine. This show has records from all her eras to please the older and newer fans.
The highlight of the show was her guitar playing, not only did it look great but she was also very skilled. She put a lot of energy into it and the crowd loved hearing her play.
Fousheé is the type of artist you must dance to when hearing her play live! She is a must-see if you’re looking for a groovy night.
