Openers Towa Bird and Alexander 23 join headliner Reneé Rapp at the South Side Ballroom in Dallas for the second date of Rapp’s ‘Snow Hard Feelings’ Tour.
On the second date of her “Snow Hard Feelings” tour, pop artist Reneé Rapp made a stop at the South Side Ballroom in Dallas, Texas. For this tour she was accompanied by two openers, Towa Bird and Alexander 23. The entire tour was sold out, and the line to enter the venue wrapped around the block. The crowd buzzed with excitement, and numerous fans wore halos and brought handmade signs. The set design for the show was gorgeous, and incorporated a screen for visuals as well as flowers and greenery for aesthetics.
The first act of the night was rock artist Towa Bird, who played alongside their band. Towa Bird has accumulated almost a million followers on TikTok, and is well known for their guitar playing. This year they have released three singles, “Wild Heart”, “Boomerang”, and “This Isn’t Me”. Their performance was fun and energetic, and captivated the audience.
The next act of the night was singer-songwriter Alexander 23. Over the years, Alexander 23 has released a number of singles and EPs as well as his debut album Aftershock. He is also a producer, and most recently co-produced Olivia Rodrigo’s “Get Him Back!” with Dan Nigro. Alexander 23 performed a series of fan favorite songs, and even a cover of One Direction’s “Steal My Girl”. He closed his set with his popular track “IDK You Yet”, which has more than 470 million streams on Spotify.
The last act of the night was Reneé Rapp, who kicked off her set with a compilation of sentimental visuals from her childhood. She donned a red leather jacket, a white star tee, blue jeans, and platform boots. She dominated the stage, and the crowd danced and sang along to every word. Her set was divided into four different parts: spring, summer, fall, and winter. She performed several hits, including “Too Well” and “In The Kitchen”. For her encore she played “Snow Angel”, the track that shares the same name as her latest album. Overall, Reneé Rapp’s performance, visuals, and audience interaction took her fans on an emotional and unforgettable journey.
