As you step into the enchanting and intimate setting of Sleeping Village, your eyes are drawn to the mesmerizing spinning disco ball casting specks of light around the room. The gentle hum of groovy tunes fills the air, creating a welcoming ambiance. As the local five-piece band takes the stage, you can’t help but notice their true indie rock energy. Shades of blue light up the stage as Snake Pond begins to jam, setting an easy and chill vibe for the audience. Throughout their set, the band members exude growing confidence and stage presence, radiating a true Midwestern aura. As their performance comes to a close, they surprise the audience by playing a new single they dropped that very same day titled “Gold.” You could feel the love and genuine happiness from the audience as the group waved goodnight.
Next to perform, the talented local band known as Joey Nebulous took the stage. With their infectious high energy, the pop quartet immediately captured the crowd’s attention. Center stage, the witty and stylish Joey Farago delighted the audience as he skillfully played the keyboard and shared frivolous jokes and dance moves with his bandmates.

As the set concluded, the audience found themselves unable to resist humming along to the catchy closing track, “Jennifer Aniston,” leaving a lasting impression much like Joey Nebulous themselves.

Hailing from Toronto, the band summoned the essence of pure indie rock with a subtle undertone of surf vibes that got the crowd nodding in unison.
