In anticipation of her upcoming EP coffee & a cig, Singer-Songwriter Quelle Rox releases a new single along with a vibrant music video.
Quelle Rox (pronounced kel-rox) is a dream pop babe who is making waves in the indie-pop scene. When it comes to her music, she knows how to do it all — from singing, writing, and producing her own music; all from the comfort of her bedroom in Brooklyn, New York. Quelle Rox has a way of making songs about anxiety, heartbreak, and loneliness into whimsical dreamscapes. From her rhythmic bass lines to her smooth and seductive vocals, her music is the gold you’ll be sharing with all your friends. Although she has been releasing singles since 2018, her first album Lilac Rush was released this past April.
This week’s release of Quelle Rox’s newest single “i only want you when i’m f****d up” has her fans feeling spoiled by yet another captivating jam. The electric guitar and synths are coupled with a sexy saxophone breakdown, all leading to this sense of nostalgia. Her new single has caused an even bigger dent in her musical career, as she is featured on playlists curated by Spotify, such as the Latin Indie Rising playlist and the “Fresh Finds: Latin” playlist. Make sure to check her music out, you will thank me later.
