Local Chicago Band Ocean Glass Perform a Sold-Out Show at the Subterranean

Ocean Glass at the Subterranean in Chicago.

Chicago-based band Ocean Glass set the stage at the Subterranean with support from family, friends, and fans on June 17th alongside support from Griefeater, Myoldenaysgardenpath and Kanbina.

Ocean Glass rocked the night with a few unreleased songs and fans knew their music by also singing along. It was a huge supportive crowd that led to the band playing “Stumble” as their encore song as a beautiful way to end the night (plus jumping into the crowd) which was also their most recommended song to listen to.

The openers for the show like Kanbina who kicked off the night had their third show in Chicago. They recommended “Blueberry” to listen to as well if you were to be a new listener of them. Not so long after, Myoldendaysgardenpath and Griefeater followed along with different styles in music and electric vibes to hype up the crowd right before Ocean Glass arrived. It was a night to remember for first timers seeing these bands and I would recommend if there’s any chance to see them you should do it!

I'm based by the Chicagoland area in Illinois. I would describe myself as a multidisciplinary artist who specializes in photo, design and some illustration. I am a recent graduate in Graphic Design and love being involved in the entertainment industry. I love thrifting, visiting galleries/museums, listening to podcasts and going to countless concerts when I can. My very first concert was the Jonas Brothers when I was very little!
