The dangerous duo of Metro Boomin and Future have landed in Houston’s Toyota Center.

In rap, production is as important as the artist’s flow and delivery. One of the most iconic duos is no other than Metro Boomin and Future. With the release of their successful collab album, WE DON’T TRUST YOU the duo has hit the road to play some of their biggest hits.

The night started off with a solo set of St. Louis-raised producer Metro Boomin. Known for being one of the most prominent producers in this past decade he had hits on top of hits. With a simple DJ set up and tons of energy Metro played songs like “Father Stretch My Hands Pt.1”, “Bad and Bojuee”, and “Too Many Nights”. The Toyota Center felt like one big club due to the energy and classic rap songs everyone was singing along to. This set just shows everyone how deep of a catalog Metro Boomin has, and that he is one of the best producers of our generation.

Once Metro Boomin completed his solo set it was now time to welcome Atlanta’s own, Future. Known for his toxic lyrics and unique flows Future put on a great performance for Houston. The stage was simple yet captivating enough for fans to dance from the floor to the seats. Like Metro Boomin, Future has been in the rap game for more than a decade so his in solo set we got to hear some fan favorites.

He ran through songs from projects like DS2 and I NEVER LIKED YOU. These songs had the arena going wild. Future complemented by saying this was one of the loudest crowds they’ve had so far! He finished his set with songs like “WAIT FOR ME”, “Love Me”, and “March Madness”.

Finally, for the last part of the concert, the producer and rapper duo came on stage together with coordinating all-white outfits. In this part of the concert, they highlighted each other’s biggest hits. This included “Superhero”, “Wicked”, and “Fried”. Metro Boomin and Future created a great show full of pyrotechnics, classic rap hits, and appreciation of each other’s craft. To close out the Houston show they played their global hits “Like That” and “Type Shit”. Future and Metro Boomin are closing out their tour across the states so catch them if you can!
