Openers Jasper and Tipling Rock accompany headliner, Last Dinosaurs, at The Factory in Dallas.
Last week, alternative band Last Dinosaurs began their USA tour at The Studio at The Factory in Dallas, Texas. On this tour, they were joined by soul artist Jasper and rock band Tipling Rock. Upon entering the venue, countless fans lined up to take a look at the Last Dinosaurs merch table called the Dinomart. The Dinomart featured colorful t-shirts/hoodies, vinyl, and signed posters, among many other items.
The first artist to take the stage was Jasper, an up and coming musician from Los Angeles. Jasper has almost 20 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, and his track “Oscuridad” has accumulated more than 3 million streams. In 2022 he released his EP titled LOBO, and he is teasing new music after he completes the tour. Despite some technical difficulties, Jasper Bones played an engaging set that included a cover of Mazzy Stars’ “Fade Into You.”

The second act to take the stage was Tipling Rock, a beach pop band from Boston. Tipling Rock has more than 500 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, and their song “Staring” has almost 85 million streams. Last year, the band released their single “no next time.” The band is composed of lead singer Ben Andre, drummer Tommy Shubert and bassist Dillon Salkovitz, alongside their live member Liam. Tipling Rock delivered an electric performance, which was highlighted by the glow of their neon band sign.

The last act to take the stage was Last Dinosaurs, an indie band from Australia. Last Dinosaurs has almost 600 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, and their track “Zoom” has garnered more than 25 million streams. Last year, the band released their latest album titled KYORYU. The band is composed of Sean and Lachlan Caskey and Michael Sloane, and they all sang and played instruments on stage. They opened with their song “Keys To Your Civic,” and the remainder of their set incorporated fan favorites such as “Elton,” “Shallow Boy,” and “Dominos.” All in all, the energy at the Dallas show was the perfect way to kick off the remainder of the USA tour.
