Viral sensations Katseye headline a sold-out show at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas for their ‘Beautiful Chaos’ Tour.
On Sunday, Katseye brought the “Beautiful Chaos Tour” to the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas. The entire tour, which began on November 11 in Minneapolis and ends in Mexico City on December 16, is sold out. Katseye is composed of six members: Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae. The girl group was formed after the members were selected amongst contestants in the Dream Academy competition, and this process was documented in the popular Netflix series Katseye: Pop Star Academy. Last year, Katseye released their first single titled “Debut”. Since then, they have released two EPs: SIS (Soft Is Strong) and BEAUTIFUL CHAOS. The girl group has accumulated nearly 34 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and their song “Touch” has surpassed 500 million streams.
On the chilly fall night in Irving, thousands of fans lined up to enter the Toyota Music Factory. Eyekons (Katseye’s fandom name) wore a variety of well-thought-out outfits inspired by the group, including Takis logo tops, edgy two-piece sets, and flowy red dresses. Once inside the venue, the concertgoers gathered at the merch table, which offered colorful t-shirts, charms, photo cards, and more. Before taking their seats, attendees grabbed last-minute drinks, snacks, and treats.

In the auditorium, a compilation of Katseye music videos and special moments played. The video screen also prompted the attendees to turn on their light sticks, which would sync up during the show. Suddenly, the stadium went dark, and the group hit the stage. Katseye first wore coordinating black outfits and opened with their catchy track, “Debut”. Next up in the setlist were “Gameboy”, “I’m Pretty”, and “Mean Girls”, amongst other memorable songs. Throughout their performance, the members moved around their two-tiered set, which featured a top and bottom platform connected by movable staircases. The closing track for the first half of the show was “Gabriela”, which concluded with red confetti erupting into the audience.
After a montage of Dream Academy interviews, Katseye emerged onto the stage with new, sparkly outfits. The members sang and danced along to fan favorite songs such as “Dirty Water”, “Time Lapse”, and “M.I.A”. During their short breaks in between tracks, Katseye would interact with their Eyekons and thank them for all of their support. The closing song for the second half of the show was “Gnarly”, which also ended with a stream of neon green confetti floating around the auditorium. Before their encore, a selection of encouraging voicemails from fans were transcribed on the screen and played over the speakers.

Afterwards, Katseye appeared in their final outfits, which incorporated pieces of fan merchandise. The group expressed gratitude to their touring crew and dancers, and their last two tracks were “Touch” and “My Way”. Overall, Katseye put on a spectacular production, which combined strong vocals, impressive choreography, and entertaining visuals. This group, and their performance in Irving, was one for the history books.
