Japanese Breakfast stopped in Houston at the White Oak Music Hall with special guest SASAMI.

Japanese Breakfast is a band hailing from the streets of Philadelphia, and is led by Korean-American singer/songwriter Michelle Zauner. Zauner is known for her variety of works, from her days in indie band Little Big League to writing a best-selling autobiography Crying in H-Mart. The band most recently released their third album Jubilee in June and wrote the soundtrack for video-game SABLE. Their show in Houston was one to remember, as Zauner mesmerized audiences with her beautiful vocals.

I'm a full-time music journalist/photographer from Houston, number one Paramore fan and Husky dog owner. I have a B.S in Radio-Television-Film from UT Austin and a M.A in Mass Communications from the University of Houston, which makes me smart! On top of being an avid concert-goer and movie fanatic, I love bonding with others over the power of local music and media.
