The Struts Get Pretty Vicious at House of Blues in Houston

British rock band The Struts visit House of Blues in Houston on their Remember The Name Tour with support from Mac Saturn and Hot for Crime.

The Struts released their fourth studio album Pretty Vicious on November 3, 2023. The band kicked off the North American leg of their Remember The Name Tour in early November. The band visited House of Blues Houston to play an unforgettable show jam-packed with their hits and tracks from their new record.

Hot for Crime, The Struts’ first opener of the night, played a dynamic set to get the crowd moving. Formed in 2022, the band takes influence from classic rock n’ roll music from the 60s through the 80s. They played all original tracks that sound straight out of a classic rock mixtape, including their biggest hit “Ya Need It”.

The next opening band, Mac Saturn, is said to be “the past, present, and future of rock n’ roll” by the Michigan Daily. The band played their most popular songs, “Mr. Cadillac” and “Ain’t Like You”, as well as a handful of tracks from their newest EP Mint Julep. Their performance was electrifying and groovy.

The Struts took the stage, opening their set with the track “Dirty Sexy”, followed by one of the band’s most famous songs “Body Talks”. Right from the start, frontman Luke Spiller’s passionate showmanship was palpable. The Struts are well known for their energetic stage presence and unmatched instrumental and vocal capabilities, undoubtedly making their live performances entertaining and captivating. The band played many songs from their new record, such as “Pretty Vicious” and “Too Good At Raising Hell”. They concluded their set with the track “Could Have Been Me”, their most famous song. The Struts will continue their Remember The Name Tour until December 10 in Los Angeles, California.
