Isaiah Rashad Shakes the House of Blues in Chicago for a Sold-Out Show

American Rapper Isaiah Rashad continued his 10th Anniversary Tour with a part two tour across the East Coast with help from Ray Vaughn and Yakiyan for the two sold out nights in Chicago.

The beginning of 2024 marked a decade of Isaiah Rashad’s debut EP Cilvia Demo, in celebration he embarked on a West Coast tour early in the year then later on he hit the East Coast with more cities and Chicago was at capacity for two sold out nights.

As the venue began to quickly fill in the House of Blues once the door opened, it didn’t take long for fans to prepare themselves for the greatest night ever to close off the second sold out Chicago show. There was music from the tour’s DJ  to build up the excitement not too long before the first opener came out – Yakiyn. It was a surprise to everyone there when he appeared in the crowd and no one realized it; creating a perfect way to begin the show of interacting with fans in the crowd and singing with everyone eye level to create a crazy experience. Yakiyan had a special talk with the crowd about how anyone can manifest what they want to achieve, encouraging everyone to put their hands in the sky right before he continued the rest of his performance with the highest level of energy. As he reached the final song, Yakiyn asked ‘how many fellas came in with a beautiful woman tonight?’ while handing out roses to the ladies who came and gave away merch while ending his set with “STFU from his 2022 EP.

Not too long after, the next opener for the show who introduced himself as Ray Vaughn, cracked a few jokes alongside the performance he had prepared for Chicago  – asking if he can party with everyone before performing his 2022 Single “Tradeline” bringing in the hardest bass and lyrical rhythm to the show. He was telling more of his story throughout the set of how he pushed his rap career to the fullest and was able to pull himself out of a bad place before getting to where he is now that created an intimate moment with people who could relate to parts of his story.

Many fans were eager for Isaiah Rashad to make his way to the stage for Chicago’s sold out show for night two. Rashad is an American rapper from Chattanooga Tennessee, who is celebrating a decade of his past EP Cilvia Demo for the new and longtime fans who have supported since then. His set consisted of many songs from the EP such as “R.I.P. Kevin Miller”,“Tranquility” , and “Menthol”. Rashad gave two ladies in the crowd a chance to come on stage to win backstage access if they knew the lyrics to Modest to perform alongside him. Both women were highly favored from the crowd for knowing the song super well & did an amazing job at it.

As the night went on, with more songs from the past EP, he also shared the stage with Rakyin and Ray Vaughn for the rest of the night in support of each other. Rashad performed a fan favorite from his past 2021 album The House Is Burning “RIP Young” which had everybody jumping and singing word for word. Fans were shaking up the floor to Rashad’s most favored songs and hands went in the air for many songs like “Free Lunch”, “Headshots” and “Heavenly Father.”

Rashad has only one more night left on the second leg of his 2024 tour in Boston Massachusetts on June 7th that is bound to be filled with love, energy and more celebration. If you haven’t listened to Rashad’s music before, now’s your chance to celebrate that 10 year mark with him at home for the album Cilvia Demo this year!
